From the 44 football supporters who police picked up Wednesday, there are still 18 jailed at Thursday morning. They are all supporters of the Scottish club Celtic, police reported .
The eight officers who were injured because they were attacked by supporters, could go to home after treatment in the hospital. According to a spokesman from the police, the undercover cops beaten with bottles and sticks.
It is still not clear whether the rioters knew they were going to attack agents.
Among the 44 arrested were 16 Ajax supporters and 28 Celtic supporters . Of these, 14 are still fixed for public violence , two for assaulting police officers , one for destruction and one for failing to comply with a police order .
1500 man on the Dam
