Almost 200 supporters of Bayern Munich and VfL Bochum arrested yesterday

Yesterday 196 supporters were arrested in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, before the match Schalke 04 vs. Bayern Munchen. The German authorities announced today they were arrested when they tried to break a gate into the stadium. The majority of the arrested supporters were from Bayern Munich but also some of VfL Bochum.

There was a lot of heavy violence and a lot of wounded supporters. The Schalke supporters were behaving perfectly and weren’t responding to the disturbances outside the stadium according to the police.
