Five matches in the group stage of the European Championship have been labelled as high-risk matches. A non-official source at the police has said this on Monday according to the German news agency DPA.
Two of those matches are those of England, against Russia and Wales. Two matches of Poland are also labelled as high-risk, the high-risk matches of Poland are those against Germany and Ukraine. The last of the five is the match Turkey against Croatia, which has been labelled because of the dangerous reputation of the supporters.
There were a lot of disturbances at the last big tournament in France, the world championships back in 1998. On top of that there will be a lot more security because of the terrorist threat.
