UEFA fines AZ Alkmaar for letting off fireworks against Maccabi Tel Aviv


UEFA fined AZ 18,000 euros for disturbances during the Europa League match against Maccabi Tel Aviv (1-2) on 20th of October. Fans of AZ Alkmaar used fireworks and stood on the steps of the AFAS Stadium.

Immediately after the incident AZ identified four supporters who set of the fireworks. They are known and should take the penalty on their behalf.

Probably four young guys, showing their emotion with safe fireworks, are hereby charged with paying € 4500 each.
