Rapid Vienna fans build a brick wall trying to stop management from going to work

This is a brilliant protest.

Rapid Vienna have had a dismal season by their standards with the Austrian powerhouse nowhere to be seen in the championship shake-up.

Sitting 3rd, 17 points behind second-placed Salzburg and 20 points behind city rivals Austria Vienna, Rapid fans are furious with the manner in which their campaign has petered out, and on Saturday they made their feelings clear in a clever protest.

A group of supporters built a brick wall in front of front doors of Rapid’s offices, on which they placed a photograph of general manager Werner Kuhn with the caption: “I’m not allowed in.”

Unfortunately the protest didn’t stop Rapid from taking the field where they lost 3-1 at home to Salzburg in another abject performance.
